Our Impact

Through the SOGI Educator Network, SOGI 123 creates a lasting impact in schools and classrooms in regions across the country. We help schools move from case-by-case reactions to policy-driven SOGI solutions. We break down silos by building SOGI educator networks. And together, we move the educational paradigm from the “why” to the “how” of SOGI-inclusive education.

By joining the SOGI 123 Network, educators gain access to a diverse range of resources, tools, and support. We offer development opportunities that empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to address discrimination, foster inclusivity, and create welcoming classrooms. Our comprehensive lesson plans, resource guides, and teaching strategies make it seamless to integrate SOGI-inclusive content across various subjects and grade levels. Together, we are building a community of enablers, dedicated to championing diversity and embedding inclusivity into education.

Through our collective efforts, we make a significant impact on 2SLGBTQ+ students. By promoting inclusive policies and practices, we create safe and empowering spaces for them to learn, grow, and thrive. By creating inclusive learning environments, we reduce the harmful effects of discrimination and bullying, enabling 2SLGBTQ+ students to achieve their full potential academically, emotionally, and socially. Our resources help educators incorporate 2SLGBTQ+ history, literature, and experiences into their local curriculum, fostering understanding and empathy among all students.
