Our Impact

SOGI 123 is a human rights lens applied to all areas of local curriculum. It answers the question, “how can I be me if I can’t see me?” SOGI saves lives by insisting on inclusion of some of our most marginalized youth and staff.

ARC Foundation respectfully acknowledges that our offices are located on traditional, ancestral, unceded homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. These peoples have lived in and cared for the lands, waters and skies here since time immemorial. This acknowledgement is offered as a reminder of the truth of colonization and its historical and ongoing impact. We hope it can be a step toward learning, change, and a starting point for respectful, reciprocal relationships in our work. We are humbled by and grateful for the opportunity to work on this and many other Indigenous homelands across what is colonially known as Canada.
