Learning Module: SOGI + Intersectionality
What is intersectionality, and why does it matter? This 90-minute learning module introduces the concept in accessible language, highlighting its connection to SOGI-inclusive education. It emphasizes the need to take up intersectionality with youth and suggests ways that educators can use an intersectional lens to support safe and inclusive learning environments.
SOGI 123 90-minute Learning Modules are designed for educators who have completed our foundational modules and are looking for a deeper SOGI-inclusive learning experience. Each module includes three downloadable resources: a video, an editable PowerPoint presentation, and a Facilitator’s Guide—complete with speaker’s notes, discussion questions, activities, and worksheets.
Ideal for professional development days, conferences, and longer workshops.
