SOGI Posters for the Elementary Context
Creating inclusive physical environments is a great way to communicate our dedication to fostering safer and more welcoming spaces for all students. Often students will be looking for hints that show them that you are a safe person. One way to show students these hints and create visually welcoming spaces is through posters.
The Alberta SOGI 123 Educator Network has created a bilingual poster series to help communicate their dedication to students of all sexual orientations and gender identities. These posters, available in English and French, aim to appeal across K-12 contexts while focusing on elementary schools. Feel free to print them out and add them to your classrooms and schools – they are a great way to add a joyful burst of colour and inclusion to your space. Download them below!
